Okay, so I made a compost bin out of a trash can following instructions I found on the internet. It was pretty easy since all I needed was a hole saw bit, some screen, duct tape, and a bungee cord. I know you can't see it from here, but I did drill a bunch of holes with a regular drill bit. Apparently a compost bin needs to air for it to decompose. This project took me 30 minutes to do and I think I had bought the trash can for like $8 at a home depot last year. So this was a pretty cheap project that hopefully will save me money on some soil in the long run.
